Built in the style of LotJ Race Search. The official templates and the 256-color and keyword-highlight tables come from the original Legends of the Jedi Color Checker ↗ by @Xerakon, from an original concept by @Xavier. Thank you both.

This is a preview. Your MUD client may shade colors or wrap lines a little differently, so check important text with the in-game colorcheck command.

Game screen

Windows

Windows are always at least as wide as the game screen (your wrap width) and widen for longer lines. Drag a window's bottom-right corner to set your own width; it stays until you press Fit.

The game skips a line that is completely empty, so each blank line needs one space. The line you are typing on gets its space when you move off it.

Insert a code

Inserts at the cursor in the Input window.

256-color palette

Hover a swatch to see its code. Click to insert it.

Window widths count only the characters you see in game, never the color codes. Text keeps its color across lines until another code or &D changes it.
